2 Corinthians 5:17

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Who is Nana?

A born again, spirit-filled Christian. I was 28 years old when I accepted Christ as my personal Lord and Savior. Today I am a 56 year old wife of the same man for 38 years, mother of 4 and I have 8 grandchildren aged 2 to 14, 4 step-grandchildren aged 15-25, and 4 step-great grandchildren aged 1-5. {I usually just say I have 16 grandchildren} My grandchildren all call me "Nana" (rhymes with Mama).

The Lord has led me through many things and they have all helped me to have a deeper more meaningful relationship with our heavenly Father. As time goes on I will share more of my personal experiences with you.

The purpose of "Nana's Corner" is to minister to others, especially to young parents, but also to grandparents, children or anyone else that we can help.

I will share lessons that the Lord has taught me and I pray will minister you. There will be a variety of form used; testimonies, teachings, poems, etc...

Everyone who visits Nana's Corner will be placed on my personal prayer list. I invite you to share any prayer requests or any topics that you wish to be discussed.

Nana and the Butterflies

2 Corinthians 5:17 is one of my favorite verses. As a young Christian, I was feeling frustrated at not being as "good" as I thought I should be. (You can learn a lot of bad behavior in 28 years.) I even began to doubt my salvation. Our Father is so faithful. I came upon this verse and noticed one tiny little two-letter word - "is". "...if any man is in Christ he is a new creation...." Not gonna be, hopes to be, might be, but is a new creation. I realized then that because of Jesus' redemptive work on the cross, the creepy crawly, nasty, waller in the dirt caterpillar that I was had become a new creature. Taa-daa!! I am a flying high on my butterfly wings. Jesus Loves You and I do Too! NanaSo I always have a butterfly around to remind me to stay out of the dirt and act like a butterfly.
