Praise and
Worship
One of the
most essential elements of prayer life that leads to
intimacy with God is the act of praise, adoration and
worship.
Psalm
63:4-5 "I will praise you as long as I\ive,"
vows David. "...My soul will be satisfied as
with the riches of foods; with singing lips my mouth
will praise you"
Psalm
22:26 "They who seek the Lord will praise Him-
may your hearts live forever!"
Confession
Having
praised and also thanked Him you now want to be sure
every sinned is cleansed and forsaken.
Psalm
66:18 "If I had cherished sin in my heart, the
Lord would not have listened."
Isaiah
59:2 "But your iniquities have separated you
from your God; your sins have hidden his face from
you, so that he will not hear"
Thanksgiving
You should
express your gratitude to God. Have a grateful heart.
2
Corinthians 9:15 "Thanks be to God for his
indescribable gift!"
Philippians
4:6 "In everything, by prayer and petition, with
thanksgiving, present your requests to God."
Intercession
Ask
earnestly and humbly. Ask for others- and then yourself.
Philippians
2:4 "Each of you should look not only to your
own interests, but also to the interests of others"
James
1:5 "If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask
God, who gives generously to all without finding
fault, and it will be given to him."
