What you need:

Paper and pencil

The Rules:

1 player draws a line, squiggle, or shape on the paper. Then the second player draws a line, squiggle, or shape on the same paper. This keeps going until you have a picture.

While each player may have a different idea when the drawing gets started, you never know what you will end up with. Once the picture is how you want it start another.

Homemade Silly Putty

What you need:

1/3 cup liquid starch

1 cup craft glue

baking sheet

craft stick or small spoon

newspaper comics

drawing paper

What you do:

Put the starch in baking sheet. Using the craft stick slowly mix in the glue until it starts to clump. Let set for about 5 minutes. Put some starch on your fingers and knead the mixture until workable. Now you have your own silly putty.

Make sure not to get the putty on furniture or carpet.

The putty will make prints of your favorite comics. Press the putty on a comic strip, peel it back, and then press on to clean drawing paper.

When finished playing store in a small airtight container.

Sand Art

what you need:

Cardboard or posterboard

pencil

glue

water

paintbrush

colored sand

What you do:

Draw a picture o the cardboard, something simple to start with. Then mix water and glue half and half. Use the paintbrush to paint the glue mixture where you want to put one color of sand. Then sprinkle sand over the glue. Let dry a few minutes and then tap off the loose sand. Do the same for other colors.

Stained Glass

What you need:

construction paper

pencil

food coloring

small squeeze bottle of white glue

toothpick

crayons

What you do:

Draw a picture on a piece of construction paper with the pencil. Draw lines to divide up te picture as a stained glass window. Then put a few drops(5-10) of food coloring in the glue bottle. Squeeze a line of glue along the 'stained glass' lines to out line the shapes. Use a toothpick to cleanup the lines. After glue has dried, color in the areas.

PostCards

What you need:

Cardstock or 4x6 blank index card

scissors

ruler

black felt-tip pen

colored pencils or markers

What you do:

On one side of the cardstock, make the postcard part. Using the ruler draw a straight line down the center of the card to divide the card for your message and address. On the right side draw three horizontal lines for the address. On the front of the card draw anything you'ld like. Your imagination is the only limit.
